About the course The VIRT2UE Train the Trainer program is aimed at researchers and educators from different disciplines who want to become trainers in Research Integrity. The training takes a virtue-based approach and supports participants in reflecting on their understanding of, and own positions towards, research integrity. In line with this, a strong focus is put on fostering reflecting on personal cases and experiences with the intention of building strong connections between theory and practice.
Learning objectives for the train-the-trainer course are to:
Identify and apply the core principles and recommended good practices of the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity
Understand core virtue ethics concepts and terms and relate virtue ethics to research integrity
Understand core virtue ethics concepts and terms and relate virtue ethics to research integrity
Facilitate case-based and experiential exercises aimed at fostering reflection on virtues
Critically reflect on experiences of teaching
Adapt teaching approaches based on the target group characteristics
The course fee varies depending on the country in which you are based as a researcher.
Low income countries: 200 EUR (ex VAT) Middle income countries: 350 EUR (ex VAT) High income countries: 875 EUR (ex VAT)
